The product CaptionWriter II is a comfortable tool for the description of digital images. The description is saved in the image file - according to IPTC/NAA-standards and is compatible to file information of Adobe Photoshop (3.0 or higher). The images will not be compressed.
The descriptions created with CaptionWriter II can be used in Adobe Photoshop and in nearly all professional production- and archivesystems for digital images. CaptionWriter II simplifies the use of the IPTC/NAA description possibilities and enables the user to save and read back important information as user friendly as possible.
CaptionWriter II supports the JPEG-formats (JFIF e.g.) and TIFF.

Galleries with file-explorer
The CaptionWriter II galleries visualize your digital images. The content of the chosen folder appears in the gallery as thumbnails.
The pictures in the gallery can be sorted according to various criteria and the thumbnails are shown in different sizes.
With the file-explorer on the left side of the gallery you can copy, move and delete files by drag&drop. You also can build new folders or rename them.
Multidescription
In the galerie you can make a selection of images and open the multidescription-editor with a doubleclick. With this editor you can insert the description in all selected files. This editor offers a lot of functions (like PopUp-lists, Thesaurus, Hash-function).
Preview with navigationbuttons
The preview-window now offers navigation- and workflow-buttons. This enables you to make a selection of images by seeing these in a high resolution.
